This button opens the phone settings screen:

This screen is used to block inbound/outbound calls from specific
phone numbers (left pane) as well as to define outbound area code and 1 + area
code rules for the “out dial” mode (also called the “personal
phone feature”). “Out-dial” is only used on analog systems.
Note: “Out-dial” allows callers to store their
personal phone number in the dating system and other callers can
“chat” with them. The system will make an outbound call to the
person each time someone wants to chat with them. Callers can turn their
“phone feature” on or off at any time. It is only when the phone
feature is turned on that they can receive phone calls.
In the left pane:
You can enter any phone number or phone number range (with
area code) and prevent callers from logging on. You simply enter the phone
number or range, click the “Block InBound Calls” box and press the
button.
To use this option, you need either callerid (analog systems) or ANI (digital
systems). Phone numbers should be entered exactly as they appear on caller-id
(10 digits or 7 digits, without dashes).
To keep pranksters from using your system to call numbers
they should not, simply enter the phone number or range, click the “Block
OutBound Calls” box and press the
button. The outbound
option is used with the out-dial feature available only with analog hardware.
Note: If you are only entering a single phone number, enter
that phone # in both the “Beginning Phone Number” and “End
Phone Number” fields.
Hint: If you want to require every caller on your system to
have a valid caller-id number, add an entry "None" (beginning and
ending phone number) in the left pane, check the "Block InBound
Calls" box and press the
button. This will prevent
non-caller-id participating callers from entering your system. They will be
played a prompt saying that callerid is required.
In the right pane:
Enter area codes and exchanges that are valid for your area.
Only those area codes and exchanges entered will be called by the out-dial
feature of SoftTouch. Callers not living in an area code/exchange permitted by
the system will not be able to receive calls. If your phone company requires
the use of area codes even for local phone calls, be sure to check the
“Use Area Code” box for each entry. If your phone company requires
the use of 1 + the phone number, be sure to check the “Use 1 +
Number” box for each entry.
Note:
Basic bad area codes are blocked automatically (where x, any other digit): x11,
0xx, 555, 976, 900, *xx, #xx
